Later on 2014 google attach the panda algorithm as a permanent filter to their main algorithm. So that they can remove the websites those having content duplication from their search list. This update was known as panda update 4.0.
Content Spamming includes:
- Content Duplication or Plagiarism: This update will recognize all types of duplication or copy paste of content that we done in our web pages.
- Publishing low quality content: Publishing content with grammatical errors,spelling mistakes etc will leads to the loss of trust of users. So panda will report it.
- Content Spinning: Repeated use of same content for the entire website or spinning of content. It will create a negative impact among users.
- Thiny pages: Pages which do not having much content or having low content will reduce the trust of users.
- Content automation: The process of fetching content from other sources using automation mechanism is called content automation.
- Keyword stuffing: Intentionally including focusing keyword repeatedly throughout the website.

This update is to avoid link spamming.It was done on 2012. Later on 2016 google introduced penguin 4.0. Here they made link penalty as real time.
- Link exchange: For getting high ranks, websites will exchange their links with each other.
- Taking links from low quality directories.
- Link farming: The process of acquiring links using automation methods.
- Paid links: The process of buying links from others manually.
- Comment spamming: Intentionally providing links of our websites as comments on others web page.
- Wiki spamming: Wikipedia is the site which provides us the privilege to make correction as we wish. But this privilege is misused for taking links from Wikipedia.
- Guest blogging: The process of writing blogs for others in their blogger. Thereby we can acquire links from them.
3. Pigeon update:

This update done on 2011. And also, it was an advanced version of humming bird update. It utilized strong artificial intelligence than humming bird update. Because of this Google acts like human.

Here this update is done for avoiding parked domains from search result. This update was on 2012.
- Parked domain: Parked domain refers to the registration of an Internet domain name without that domain being associated with any services such as e-mail or a website. This may have been done for reserving the domain name for future development and to protect against the possibility of cyber squatting.
7. Exact match domain (EMD) update:
This update will remove those websites which have its domain name exactly as the focusing key word and does not have any ranks within a particular time from search result. Because those websites will not have any trust value. Google made this update on 2012.
- EDM is the process of using focusing key word as the domain name.
8. Pirate update:
This update came into existence on 2014 and it ensures the DMCA (digital millennium copy right act) policy of users. This policy gives the privilege for user to report complaints for the use of their content, videos, images etc by others without the permission of web masters.
10. Mobilegeddon update:
It was done on 2015 and also known as mobile friendly update. According to this update websites text must readable without tapping or zooming. Also, tap targets are spaced appropriately and the pages avoids unplayable content or horizontal scrolling. Because of this update our site will automatically adjust their size appropriate for screen size.
